Yes, I know she doesn’t look old enough, but Lil Miss D is in the process of coming out of an eighteen year-long relationship. And a sixteen year-long marriage.
D stands for Divorce. A word she’s not quite ready to say … and a process which she’ll be taking step by step in the coming months. She’s bravely decided to not only share those steps with the blog, together with some of the deciding factors which led to the ‘big D’, but to also explore the brighter side of life after a relationship which lasted half her life.
And so it is with the utmost respect, that I introduce the blog’s latest Experimental Dater – Lil Miss D …
Miss Twenty-Nine xxx
Blog Name: Lil Miss D
Twitter Account: @LilMissD1
Relationship Status: Single
Sexuality: Straight Female
Height: 5ft 2”
Body Type: Slim/Athletic
Hobbies: Music – listening to and playing the guitar, socialising with friends, snowboarding, good food and company, gym (especially loves Zumba!), dancing, reading, walking and anything else in the great outdoors and much more! Will give anything a go to be honest so there are probably many hobbies I have not yet discovered!
Ideal Partner: Someone who is fun and makes me laugh and can share in my zany and often off the wall sense of humour. Must also love the outdoors and a variety of sports, but also enjoy cosying up in front of a fire on a stormy winter’s evening. A sense of respect of others is also important, as is kindness, alongside a generally positive outlook on life.
Longest Relationship: 18 years
Why do you think you’re single?: My 16 year marriage ended in August last year, and so I am taking time to contemplate love and life and all it has to offer.
Good Relationship Traits: Calm, caring and considerate, with a good sense of humour.
Bad Relationship Traits: Can sometimes make excuses for other people’s disrespectful and inconsiderate behaviour and so my genuinely caring nature has sometimes been taken advantage of!
How would you describe the way you date? With a smile!
What do you find most attractive in a date? Someone who intrigues me and makes me laugh and as a result of this I want to get to know him more.
What do you find least attractive in a date? Stifled conversation, no sense of humour and no chemistry.
Best ever date: Indoor Rock Climbing. It was amazing and challenging and we had a good giggle whenever I fell off the indoor wall.
Worst Date Ever: Using a dating website – Online we got on like a house on fire, but when we met in person, the conversation was really hard to keep going and there was no chemistry at all.
Celebrity Crushes: Robert Downey Jr, Hugh Jackman.
