The Evolution of the Experimental Daters
In case you hadn’t realised, I get bored quite easily! I live my life in this way where I try to cram it full of as many experiences as possible. I don’t like things to go stale. I enjoy change, and development.
Over the past eight months, the nature of this blog has allowed it to grow naturally.
At first it was a record of my 30 Blind Dates Challenge.
Three months later, I completed the Challenge, and needed a new direction for things to go in. So I introduced the Dating Experiments, and then came the introduction of the Experimental Daters. A band of readers and friends, who applied from all corners of the globe to tell us all about their dating experiences.
I had planned to recruit 30 writers. We’ve got 29 so far … so 30 with me, and I’ve been meaning to introduce the final Experimental Dater for a number of weeks now.
However, things change, and you’ll have noticed some of the Experimental Daters contribute a lot more than others.
So I think it’s time to switch things up.
Don’t worry, I’m not getting rid of any of the blog’s regular contributors. I’m just having a bit of a shake up, and for the first time will be welcoming one-off contributions from guest writers.
And so, if you’d like to tell us about a particularly good or bad date, or you have a view on a subject you’d like to share with the 30 Dates readership, feel free to send in an article. You can always contact me at thirtydates@hotmail.com or over Twitter @30Dates.
