Job – Technical Headhunter.

Education – Bachelor’s degree

Hobbies – This is a bit eclectic. I foster puppies, which keeps me quite busy. Generally though – most music (singing/playing/listening) cooking, photography, travel, cycling, pilates, eating out, paddle boarding, reading, dancing, road trips.

Ideal Partner – I am very personality driven! Someone who knows his own mind and can express opinions intelligently while respecting others. (This is a difficult thing to ask in Houston. Refer to previous answer on religion). A guy who is funny, intelligent, kind and honest with a positive outlook. Also, someone with a passport he’s not afraid to use! I enjoy being fit and active, so I like my partner to be that too. It helps counteract all the deliciousness Houston has to offer.

Longest Relationship – Two and a half years.

Why do you think you’re single? – I thought my last relationship was the person I was meant to be with for the rest of my life. Unfortunately he became unwell and refused help or treatment so we are no longer together. I’m looking forward to rediscovering the Houston scene and starting fresh! Every relationship is a learning experience.

Good Relationship Traits –  I’m kind, caring, loyal and thoughtful. I think relationships are about balancing each other and being a team, so I support my partner and expect the same back.

Bad Relationship Traits – I have a tendency to not know my own limits and when to ask for help. Also, asking for help. Can’t do it. I’m working on that though.

How would you describe the way you date? – Flexibly! I love to dress up and go to beautiful places but I’ve been to an ice house with my dog for a date and had just as much fun.

What do you find most attractive in a date? – When it’s easy, with no awkwardness and interrogations. If you can’t make a conversation flow, then we’re going nowhere.

What do you find least attractive in a date? – Bad hygiene. Also, chewing tobacco. WHY?!

Best Ever Date – A lunch and trip to a museum turned into walking through Rice Village, playing with kids in a park, then cocktails, then dinner and finally more cocktails. A 16 hour first date and it was as if we’d known each other for years.

Worst Ever Date – Oooh. This is a tricky one. The chef/restaurant owner who cried when I asked him why he was so desperately wanting children (in my defense, he’d asked me three times if I was definitely fertile!) or the man who told me if this didn’t work out, he had a Ukrainian service that was going to send him a mail order bride. Oh wait…. That was the same date.
