Experimental Dater Six – The Rebound Gal
If the Dating World is the Wild West, then The Rebound Gal is the New Kid in Town. Fresh out of a longterm relationship, she’ll be joining the blog to investigate the complex world of ‘The Rebound’ – all part of the ‘Single’ Experiment.
Blog Name – The Rebound Gal Twitter Account – @ReboundGal Age – 29 Location – London, England Relationship Status – Just come out of a longterm relationship Sexuality – Straight female Religion – Brought up Christian, but no particular religious feelings Height – 5’6” Body Type – Healthy. Not skinny, but not fat!! Job – Nanny Education – DipHE, NVQ 3 Hobbies – Baking (well cooking in general really!), Running (to burn off all the calories from the cooking!), Going to gigs. I like being creative, so anything that fits in to that bracket is perfect! Ideal Partner – Someone tall, I like wearing heels! They need to be vaguely athletic, I’m not too keen on massive muscles, but I don’t want a guy with smaller legs than me!! In terms of personality, someone chilled and who doesn’t mind laughing at himself. I’m all about having a good time and not taking things too seriously. Longest Relationship – Six years, we were more friends by the end. We weren’t really in the same place with what we wanted from the relationship. Why do you think you’re single? – I’ve only been single for 4 months, probably because I’ve not been actively looking for a relationship. I’m not closed to the idea though, if the right man comes along! Good Relationship Traits – I’m pretty chilled out, I like to have fun, but don’t really mind what we do. I am very caring, I spend my time looking after people, I like to make people happy. Bad Relationship Traits – I’m quite easy going which can look like I don’t care, I do!! Deep down I’m sensitive, and I can take something you would see as insignificant to heart and then find it difficult to let go. How would you describe the way you date? – I would say I’m pretty chilled, but then again, I’ve not really dated since I was in my early 20’s so, honestly, I don’t really know!! What do you find most attractive in a date? – The ability to have fun and not worry how others see you! You sometimes have to be silly and not take yourself to seriously. Oh, and a nice face helps!! What do you find least attractive in a date? – lack of enthusiasm. If you’re not enjoying yourself, I won’t be either. Best Ever Date – I don’t really have a best ever date, but I did have an amazing non-date date with a friend. We met at Monument Station and walked up The Monument, super cheap, and the view is cool! You also get a certificate to say you climbed it! We then walked down to the Tower of London. I had mentioned that I’d never seen Tower Bridge lift. My ‘date’ looked up the lift times, and made sure we were there to see it! So fun! Worst Ever Date – a dinner date where I did have to do the ‘my friend’s having an emergency, I have to go’ routine. It was just excruciatingly boring and we had nothing in common. I think there was about 5 mins where we sat in silence. Bad. Celebrity Crushes – I’ve never really fancied any celebrities, I’ve never really seen the point!! I’d rather obsess about people that I have a chance of meeting. Except Dec from Ant and Dec. Who I have met, sung Karaoke with and we may have shared a cheeky kiss!! |
